We are passionate about inspiring others in marginalized communities:
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Pacific Northwest Rainbowbility Chorus (PNWRC) is to create an inclusive and empowering community through music, by providing a safe and welcoming space for people of all abilities, races, socio-economic backgrounds, with any level of musical experience to express themselves and share their talents. We utilize an understanding of our intersectionality to break down barriers and promote diversity, equity, and accessibility in music, and to inspire joy, connection, and social change through our performances and outreach programs.
(We are non-auditioned.)

Vision Statement:
Unifying through the transformative power of music.

The Pacific Northwest Rainbowbility Chorus is the brain child of Alison Hills. It has long been their dream to start a chorus for folks with all types of abilities. They became friends with Landon in 2015, since becoming friends with Landon and ample amounts of time to plan, together with the help of Ari Taylor, we have helped bring Alison's dream to reality. In the Spring of 2021 we launched the Pacific Northwest Rainbowility Chorus!

The Pacific Northwest Rainbowility Chorus plans on having people in the deaf and hard of hearing communities sign/sing with us together on stage. We truly do want to include everyone with all types of abilities in our organization. Most of us in the LGBTQIA+ community, who have often faced discrimination for just being ourselves, we wanted to create a safe space for those people who have felt othered at some point in their life.
